Dobrolet77 Posted July 3, 2020 Share Posted July 3, 2020 Please tell me the algorithm for switching to v5 in the following situation: I'm going to install v5 on disk D while leaving v4 on disk E. Orbx Libraries with all the sceneries (huge number of gigabytes) under v4 are now partially on disks E and F. Question: Do I need to download all the content again to install in v5, or can I somehow use the contents of the libraries for v4 and for v5? Nick Cooper Posted July 3, 2020 Share Posted July 3, 2020 Hello, as P3D v5 progresses, more and more files are becoming simulator specific, so to avoid problems, the recommendation is to keep two entirely separate libraries. In order to ensure that two libraries are properly set up and maintained for Orbx products, does this mean that I should always download products I already own and have installed in v4 again when installing them in v5? I am also thinking that as vendors make things v5 compatible and I gain confidence in using v5, having separate libraries should make disengaging from v4 easier....
