I live in Victoria , Australia , so that all that area is my backyard . I regularly go down to Phillip Is for both visits and holidays , and always visit the Vietnam Vetrans museum at that airport . As a very young kid I lived near Boolara at a place that has now become Churchill , at that time my father was involved in the initial construction of Latrobe Valley Airport , interestingly about 10 years later as a pilot I flew for the first time in real life and landed at what I like to call my father's airport , it was a wonderful sensation to land there , I took up several family friends for a series of joy flights around the Latrobe Valley .
