answered Orbx central shortcut disappeared.

Since I installed central v4.1.11 my shortcut disappeared from my desktop. Now If I want to make any change or an update I always have to run the Orbx-central 4.1.11.exe

 

 Could you help me to put my shortcut back.

 

Operating system:  Windows 10 Pro

Simulator:  P3D V5

to create a desktop shortcut, right click on the .exe file and from the menu, select "Send to\Desktop (create shortcut)"

It does not appear in the start menu bar of windows 10.

 

I can not find it in C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs as well.

 

Any other suggestions?

If I check the information in the central log I noticed that is missing "2020-06-09T23:09:16.805Z [INFO] [Main] - Creating main application window" in the last update Orbx Central - 4.1.9. I don't know if this is related to the shortcut. Reinstalling the application has not solved my problem

Hello,

you need to open Windows File Explorer and navigate to C:\Users\your user account name\AppData\Local\Programs\Orbx-central\Orbx Central.exe.

Right click on Orbx Central.exe and from the menu, select "Send to\Desktop (create shortcut)".

You could also click on "Pin to Start", then you will have two means of starting the program.

If you can't see the appdata folder, amend the Windows File Explorer View settings to "Show hidden files, folders and drives".
