Aescandu Posted May 25, 2020 Posted May 25, 2020 Quote Your Central log file provides us important information, please attach it to your support requests. You can find it at the following locations, or by pressing Control + Shift + L. Windows: %APPDATA%/Orbx/Central/central.log macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Orbx/Central/central.log Linux: ~/.config/Orbx/Central/central.log You can delete this box/quote once your log is attached Operating system: Windows 10 Pro Simulator: X-Plane 11 Screenshot: Issue: When the recent updates appeared for TrueEarth scenery, I found that while the GB South scenery updated fine, when it moved to GB Central, it stopped during the 'scanning files' phase and made no further progress. By reinstalling Orbx Central and deleting all the folders associated with it, I managed to update GB North and Southern California without any further issues, but continued to have the same problem with GB Central. Examining the Central Log file shows that there seems to be a problem with a texture file in the GB Central installation. It seems that a file has got corrupted. It will display in Irfan View but cannot be copied: 'Can't read from the source file or disk.' is the message I get. How can I repair or replace it.
Ben McClintock Posted May 28, 2020 Posted May 28, 2020 Hi, This error (and the fact that InfraView can't open it either) indicates that there is not a problem with Central, but with your disk itself. I'd recommend you open a new Administrator command prompt, then run Windows' disk check utility by typing: "chkdsk /r" and pressing enter.
