michaelsimmonite Posted May 24, 2020 Share Posted May 24, 2020 This evening I have begun to have this error message. I have uninstalled the client and reinstalled. I have re-synced the simulator, but still get the same message. Everything was working well until today. Nick Cooper Posted May 26, 2020 Share Posted May 26, 2020 Hello, P3D v5 exhibits an error message that reads "Filed to read from file" and nothing else? A Google search revealed a similar problem with FSX was resolved by returning the fsx.cfg file to default. You could try that with the Prepar3d.cfg file perhaps? michaelsimmonite Posted May 28, 2020 Author Share Posted May 28, 2020 That appears to have done the trick. After removing the .cfg file I fired up P3d again and it loaded default scenery. I then shut down P3D, opened up Orbx Central and re-synchronised with the P3D. Loaded back up and all good so far. Many thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
