wethersfield Posted May 10, 2020 Share Posted May 10, 2020 I am experiencing significant disruption to my FSX/Acceleration Windows 10 using my Vector product. The problem(s) 1) Miami airport has trees on runways and tarmac, all water globally is no longer water but grass and trees. I say it's a Vector issue because when I uncheck Vector in scenery library the problem goes away and everything returns to normal. So the Vector application was not cheap when I originally purchased it and not using it is counterproductive to the reason it was purchased. So does anyone know why the problem and how to fix it? Nick Cooper Posted May 10, 2020 Share Posted May 10, 2020 Hello, I see this in the Vector user guide: Quote ULTIMATE TERRAIN X (UTX)FTX Global VECTOR directly competes with UTX, since we replace vector data contained UTX. You have a lot of configuration options available using the UTX configuration tool and we recommend you take time to explore what works best when FTXG and Vector are combined. More than likely most of the features of UTX will clash with Vector. If you are wanting an interim landclass solution until openLC arrives, then it is entirely possible to disable all UTX features except its landclass layers. and I think I also see ULTIMATE TERRAIN X in your scenery library. wethersfield Posted May 11, 2020 Author Share Posted May 11, 2020 Thank you for your input it had a fantastic impact on my FSX scenery. So, I unchecked all my UT apps and reinstated (checked) all my Vector apps, two BIG hits to FSX, no trees on runways and no water issues and faster response time.
