Jocko Flocko
I was just at Friday harbor and noticed that there is a flickering of sorts where the painted lines on the runways and taxiways are while running in DirectX 10 mode only... This is none existent under DX9. Also, on the backs and front of the parked vehicles at the airport, there are large square flat black rectangles... Could this be a Real Environment Extreme issue? I tried disabling all of the textures to do with airports within the REX 2.0 editor but to no avail as the flickering is still there. The flickering also takes place at the points where the taxiways meet the runway, as if conflicting with another texture or something. Does FTX PNW use custom runway and taxiway textures? Tim Harris
Hello, FSX is a DX9 game. This option is just to give you a "preview" of what DX10 could have been, FSX does not actually support DX10 So as it is just a "preview" there are some bugs like the ones you describe Have a read here: http://orbxsystems.com/forums/index.php?topic=18147.

Tim Harris
But the performance increase is astonishing though with DX10, such a shame!
