New Windows 10 2004 should make less VRAM use.

Recommended Posts

The new version Windows 10  2004 (build SO 19041.84) is currently reserved for participants of the Windows Insider program and is expected to be released in May.

LM Beau Hollis says that some users have reported using less VRAM with this version of Windows 10 2004.

Among the implementations of Windows 10 2004 there is one that concerns video games:

The main novelty for gamers is the introduction of support for some new DirectX 12 features. We talk about DirectX Raytracing Tier 1.1, DirectX Mesh Shader, DirectX Sampler Feedback, PIX and others that, when duly exploited by next generation titles in running on a PC equipped with compatible GPU, they promise "cinema-level photorealism".

That is true. With Win10 2004 I got 10.0 GB available VRAM which is 0.8 more than I had before. Unfortunately, F1 GTN doesn't work correctly anymore (very laggy),. So I rolled back.
