answered No installed simulator found

Hallo all,

 

When I start the Orbx light configuration tool, I get an error '' No installed simulator found. I run prepar3dv5 with Global Base, Europe open LC, buildings, FTX trees and the latest Orbx central with everything up to date including windows 10 64 bit fully updated and the Nvidia drivers. I already did a unistall and reinstall of the client with no luck. Please advise me. Thank you in advance.

I expect that it will need to be told what P3D v5 is before it can recognise it.

I don't think that you can, I would expect that our developers will have to do it.

in my opinion and since the early versions of P3D , Orbx sceneries are imperative for it ,in my opinion I myself cannot work with P3DV5 without installing   Orbx , for this reason I urge the Orbx team to expedite the mechanism of using it with P3DV5.i tried but did not succeed .

I solved it with the free FSX registry tool. I have set the path in the tool to point to P3DV5. When I run the configurator now it shows me FSX as the only installed simulator, but the lights work. I guess this is the only solution for now until the developers fix this.
