Black spots on Orbx Honolulu

Recommended Posts

Hello,

please run verify files for this product and then:

Please try renaming Scenery\BASE\Scenery\lclookup.bgl to lclookup.bgl .off

and C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\terrain.cfg to terrain.cfg.off

Note: if the Orbx Libraries are installed into an Orbx Central Library, the

Scenery\BASE\Scenery\lclookup.bgl file to rename will be the one in that folder.

Run Verify files for the Orbx Libraries which will replace the lclookup.bgl file.

Run P3D v4 once to create a new terrain.cfg file and close it.

Then run Sync Simulator in Orbx Central which will write back the Orbx entries.

Please try again.

Hi Nick

Thank you for the idea. I tried the steps, but with no success. I remember, I once had a similar issue wiht Orbx Harvey Bay over Fraser Island, and then a new bgl was attached to the forum, which helped there. Mybe here is a similar solution possible?

update: and I also completely uninstalled Orbx Honolulu and installed it again. No luck.

Kind Regards

Patrick

Can you try verify files for Global Base and open LC North America if you have them please?

Hi Nick

The only thing left I could imagine is, if you could send me the responsible bgl. for this area. I again deinstalled it and installed it again.

I had the same with Hervey Bay and nothing helped until I got an exchange bgl. file.

See this post:

Thanks for any response

Kind Regards

Patrick
