mike stout
I fly P3D but am I starting to see a trend towards XP 11 in product development only? Don't get me wrong its ok but, it kind of signals to me that Orbx thinks that P3D might be on the way out. I am okay with that from a business stand point but, as a cockpit builder with a substantial investment in 3rd party addons I am kind of stuck for awhile. With a ProSim license there is no way I will jump ship to XP. I am sure someone will post that Orbx is committed to P3D but, I am not sure P3D is even committed to P3D. Go to their forum and its like a ghost town. Okay I am done rambling on and thanks for listening. I think this self imposed quarantine is giving me to much time to think. Its time to fly.. Ed Correia
We just released openLC Africa which is for both FSX/P3D and we have announced that the TE US regions that we have done are currently being ported over to P3D. We still see it as a commercially viable platform to support.
caleb1
My guess would be the more products for xp11 being released lately is just to catch up to all the P3D products they have from the past. So they have a more equal number of products for each sim. They've been releasing alot more for xplane but by the total number of products is still much more for P3D.
