Virtual Pilot Jerry
I tried reinstalling Orbx Central. Didn't work.
Nick Cooper
Hello, welcome to the forums. Please create an Orbx Central Library and then scroll down to the "Misc" section in "My Products" and install Objectflow into your new library.
Virtual Pilot Jerry
Thank you Nick, but still nothing. Here are some photos. No ObjectFlow in products. I create a library also.
Nick Cooper
Sorry, wrong advice. Instead, please go to Orbx\FTX_AU\FTXAA_ORBXLIBS\Scenery where you will find ModuleInstaller.exe. Please run that and ensure that it adds objectflow to the dll.xml file.
Virtual Pilot Jerry
Thanks. Did that and it's saying that Flight Sim has detected a problem with a third-party software Name: Dynamig Object Placement. When I say yes to run it just does not start FSX. If I say no(don't run it) it will start FSX but how will I know if Orbx is running or working. How do I activate it in the game?
Nick Cooper
Hello, if you are using the beta version of FSX-SE, it will not work. You will have to revert to the non-beta version.
Virtual Pilot Jerry
ok Thanks for your help. I will see if that can be done..
Mike Echo Charlie
I'm having the exact same problem and I"m not using the Beta version. I just updated the Orbx library yesterday in the new Orbx Central, and went and checked in the directory as described previously and I have ModuleInstaller.cfg and ObjectFlow.dll either side of the ModuleInstaller.exe. I tried starting FSX SE as an admin (outside of the steam library) and same problem. It either shows that error window and CTD no matter what option I pick, or it shows the splash screen and then the FSX SE screen unpopulated with anything and then it just CTD. Nick Cooper
Hello, if I have understood correctly and your CTD takes place whether or not you let objectflow run, it seems to indicate that the source of the error lies elsewhere. Try deleting the content of the [Trusted] section of your fsx.cfg file and then do not let any of the modules start.
Mike Echo Charlie
OK - I think that did the trick. It seems to be working now - what I've been doing at startup is preventing the objectflow module, and the other ones it asks about I allow on a one time basis but don't put them in the trusted list. Thanks again!
