John Bosch
Just received .... Temora Aviation Museum will be flying its aircraft collection this weekend. This is a perfect time of year for a drive to the country. We know that many of you are yet to visit a Museum Flying Day and our question to you is "what are you waiting for?". The flying schedule for the weekend will include most of the Museum's collection including the Spitfire, Sabre, Meteor, and Canberra along with visiting aircraft such as Harvards, P-40 Kittyhawk, and a Gypsy Moth. So pack up the family and come to Temora this weekend. Gates open at 10:00 am and all of the flying action starts at 11:00 am.
Gurdy
hmmm.. thinking of making the drive from melbourne... only 5 hr. Anyone know what the camping facilities are like there?
Bandit
Sorry I dont know what the camping situation is like. I know that alot of the accomodation in town is booked. There will be a fair number of the Avalon airshow tarmac team attending. We are seeing what it is like to watch someone else work for once. If you make it say hi. It shouldnt be to hard to spot us as most will probably be wearing their blue avalon airshow shirts. (sad I know)
