fleurenf
I’ve an issue with Olympic Dam airport YOLD. The runway is partially below ground level. I ran the auto elevation fix function but no success. Anyone know if. Fix is available? I run FSX.SE
Nick Cooper
Hello, please make sure that you do not have any other versions of YOLD active. I do not see the problem, perhaps you can show us a screen shot please?
fleurenf
Greetings Nick. No other versions of YOLD is active. Screenshots attached.
Nick Cooper
Hello Fred, I see this in AU Australia v2. Is that the version that you are using or v1?
fleurenf
Hi Nick, Version 1 I uninstalled AU v1 and tried to re-install and now it's stuck at scanning 3920 of 5710 files
Nick Cooper
Thanks. There are no airports in version 1, it uses the simulator defaults. The FSX version of YOLD is included in your FSX folder\scenery\1005\scenery\APX84420.bgl Have you added any navaid data or AI that could have affected it? I found my backup of Version 1 and it looks like this: I see lots of bumps around mine that don't seem to be around yours. Are all your scenery library entries active and do you have anyone's addon mesh?
fleurenf
It looked like what you have shown before. I always update navdata to the latest airac but does not affect the runways only if ILS is attached. YOLD had no issues before updating from FTX Central to the new Orbx Central where it updated files. I uninstalled and re-installed V1 but the issue remains. I paid 12 Mar 2018 for FSX SE. Will V2 work ? AU AustraliaAustralia x1 $27.48 AUD
Nick Cooper
It would but it would be better to find out why my version of V1 is apparently fine and yet yours is apparently not fine. It is worth mentioning again that the V1 YOLD is not an Orbx airport but is instead a default airport. Your issue with it is therefore likely to be local to your installation. As a first step it might be worth removing all your addon scenery and see if the airport returns to normal. This is it in an entirely default version of FSX. fleurenf
Looked fine in default. With v1 installed and looking in top down view, I see all of the runway but when I zoomed closer to the runway, most of the runway disappeared into the ground. On the ground of course it shows as per my images upload. I am considering buying v2 but as a pensioner I hope special prices is happening. Nick Cooper
Hello Fred, you just missed a sale but there will most likely be another. Can you try disabling your navigation data addon and see if that helps? If you would like to attach a copy of your scenery.cfg file to your next post, I will take a look for you. fleurenf
Hi Nick, I’ve updated to AU v2 and the runway at YOLD is now at correct elevation. Two questions now: 1. v2 does not show the runway surface as you have shown in your image it still the same surface as v1 as shown in my image above. 2. How do I obtain the FSS order number so I can show it in my sig.
Nick Cooper
Hello Fred, the runway properties are these. Perhaps you have not yet successfully installed your new product. Can you attach a copy of your scenery.cfg file please? The Orbx Direct transaction ID is on the e mail that you should have received

Nick Cooper
Thanks. That one is just default. The one I would like to see is at C:\programdata\Microsoft\FSX\scenery.cfg, if that is not the one that you attached this time. Thanks.

Nick Cooper
Thanks, that shows me that Orbx Central is writing to the right scenery.cfg file and doing so correctly. It also indicates that Australia v2 is not installed yet, which I also know is not the case. Do you also have a C:\programdata\Microsoft\FSX-SE\scenery.cfg file? If so, can I have a look at that please?
