CDreier Posted February 28, 2020 Share Posted February 28, 2020 I've done a new install of P3Dv4.5 Professional. When reinstalling my ORBX products I see an option to install where P3D had been. Should I install FTXGlobal, NCLandclass, Vector, etc., within P3D itself or would you recommend installation outside P3D. BTW, P3D is installed on its own SSD in its own directory. Thank you. Doug Sawatzky Posted February 28, 2020 Share Posted February 28, 2020 Hi It is not possible to install FTX Global base to an outside library because it needs to be installed to the root simulator ORBX folder. You must also then install the Orbx Libraries to the root simulator ORBX folder. It is possible to install everything else to an external library, but many have had scenery issues when OpenLC and Vector products are installed outside the simulator, so in this case it has been recommended to also install them to the root simulator ORBX folder. And of course Orbx ObjectFlow must be installed to an external library. I personally have everything installed to the root simulator ORBX folder except the True Earth products and other non Orbx 3rd party addons.
