Empire
My FSX is on a SSD drive and I have space left but looking into performance. Will it improve if I had orbx scenery on another drive? I have 3TB HDD Drives and thinking on moving the scenery addons to my 2tb drive. Mainly since at times I can see it pixelated and it takes time for my sim to load in. Or when I'm doing a long flight then get near to my location I see at times the scenery is just taken time to load. Depends sometimes it loads in 5 secs or to 5mins. What is a pain in the butt with the aerosoft A321 (happens to any aircraft) that when I change camera views and back into the VC it's all black and takes time to load in, can be fast as 5 secs or longer. At the moment everything is on the SSD drive. At times FSX is so old we expect to see this LOL but want to able to improve the loading times like the VC. Nick Cooper
Thanks, I don't see any obvious improvement that you could make, you seem to have the ideal setup and FSX should be working well on it. If you have any anti virus software, you should exclude FSX and all its related software from it.
