Nick Cooper
Hello, the file that is missing is in fact a .dds texture and very likely, there are hundreds of others missing too. The most common cause of this is a lack of disk free space, whether in Windows or a Mac environment. Can you say how much space you have free on both the drive where the installation took place and the drive to which the files were installed? pecopilot
Thank you Nick. The installation took place on a MacBookAir with only 25Gb free space, to which was attached an external LaCie disc with 200Gb free space. The installation took place on an iMac with 400Gb free space. There was an ethernet connection between the MacBook and the LaCie disc, and the MacBook and the iMac. There was indeed a low free space notification at one point during the installation, as a result of which I attached the LaCie disk to the MacBook. Orbx Central seemed to accept this and the installation continued. Is it now a case simply of going through the installation process again, in which case, will Central simply recognise the missing files and install those only or would everything have to be installed all over again? Thank you for your help, and merry Christmas!
Josh Koz
Hi @pecopilot, You'll need to ensure that you have a library created on your LaCie disk and that the product is installed to this library to ensure this is the disk used for the installation. If the product is set as 'Installed' in Orbx Central but is only partially installed due to a full disk, you'll first need to uninstall it then perform a fresh install to the library on your LaCie disk. You can also try pressing "verify files" on the TrueEarth GB South product within Central. This will cause Central to scan for missing files, and download them accordingly.
