netwalker007 Posted November 29, 2019 Posted November 29, 2019 I just purchased GB South and tried to install it right away. The installation folder is the regular X-Plane Custom Scenery. After about four hours of download and installation, the process window looks like below: ORBX Central is running (in administrator mode), on the X-Plane drive about 85 GByte is still free. The installation progress is at 40% (see picture) and since 1 hour no further progress is shown. Is it normal or is the program stuck for some reason?
Nick Cooper Posted November 29, 2019 Posted November 29, 2019 Hello, welcome to the forums. How much free space do you have on your C drive? The fully installed product is 129 GB, so your 85 GB may well also not be enough.
netwalker007 Posted November 29, 2019 Author Posted November 29, 2019 Hello, thanks for your early reply. My X-Plane installation is on partition X (SSD, 410 GB). Here I tried to install GB South into the regular X-Plane folder ../Custom Scenery. My C drive (an SSD as well) has a free space 109 GB. (see below)
netwalker007 Posted November 30, 2019 Author Posted November 30, 2019 By changing the target directories and trying again, the installation was successful. Thanks for the support. Regards
netwalker007 Posted November 30, 2019 Author Posted November 30, 2019 Here's the proof! An explanation to the picture is superfluous I believe.
