JWxTreme
I saw this article today. It is at Savannah Airport. The two graves are on the edge of Runway 10. Family members are allowed to visit the grave site but can't leave flowers. https://www.insider.com/savannah-airport-runway-graves-cemetery-2019-10?utm_content=buffer75822&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_campaign=buffer-travel&fbclid=IwAR2TYBUuSyYCrPYjDU6_nCrckB8lOkwQ3z1Owkrg2Z20NXNc8KtyAz6-Nt8

kerrygipe
This is true. We do have two graves under one of our runways, on the left side if departing toward the east, and two more are just outside the runway by about 60 feet or so into the grass. You can find Richard and Catheryn pretty easy on most Google Maps or Bing type imagery as their headstones have been laid flat into the runway, and usually stand out pretty well. You can find Daniel and john sometimes, but not always using the same imagery, because their markers are smaller, and are really easily hidden if the grass has not been recently cut. I have marked their locations on the Google Map capture below in case anyone wants to go looking for them. If you use the 'Time Travel' function you will see that sometimes you see all 4, sometimes you only see two. If you are fortunate enough to fly out of Savannah ( We have a really nice, friendly small town terminal but with plenty of flights) try to get a seat on the left side of the plane at the windows. If you take off toward the east, which is the majority of departures, you can easily see them pass by if you know to watch for them.
