Runway Eleveation Fix Tool

I have Orbx Central v4.0.25.  Just finished reloading all my ORBX products on a new computer last evening.  I do not see a "runway elevation fix tool" on the Global VECTOR Configure page.

I have an elevation issue with KRDD - the infields between runways and taxiways are steep slopped valleys about 10 feet deep (among other elevation issues on the airport).  Wanted to try the elevation fix tool … but can't find it.

Thanks, Harold

Hello Harold,

we will have to guess which version of which simulator

and the guess will be that it is not P3D v 4.5.13.32097.

The Vector control panel is accessed via FTX Central or Orbx Central.

In FTX Central, visit the Vector product page and click on Control Panel.

In Orbx Central, visit the Vector product page and click on Configure.

Here is what to do when you have found it.

Sorry, Nick.  I'm running the latest version - P3D v4.5.13.32097.

KRDD is in neither list - AEC IS ENABLED FOR or AEC IS DISABLED FOR.

Thanks.

If there are no Vector AEC files, even before this latest version of P3D, any elevation

anomaly cannot be due to Vector.

A new problem, introduced by P3D v4.5.13.32097, is that the airport elevation is now

read from the highest version of that airport in the scenery library.

Often, it seems, this is an entry from a program that updates the airport data.

If you have such a thing installed, it can no longer be above the addon airports, or it can

and does cause anomalies.

Could that be the problem?

I've loaded none that I'm aware of.  Can you give me an example of such a program?

There are airports listed in both AEC columns, but KRDD is in neither.

The Google search does pullup results for NaviGraph which I use to update Airac cycles.  My understanding is that it does not update native P3D airport data.

I'll try uninstalling KRDD and re-installing.
