Nick Cooper
Hello Lance, not all airports have a Vector AEC , so if there isn't one, as in the case of VOGO, then the problem does not lie with Vector.
lance76
Hi, I have rolled back to P3dv4.5 HF1 and there is no elevation issue with VOGO freeware addon Airport . looks like P3D (4.5- HF2) behaves different compared to V4.5 HF1 regarding airport elevation handling/priorities.There is no airport elevation issue with default VOGO airport with P3D 4.5HF2 .but airport elevation gets all messed up with the addon airport. Nick Cooper
Hello, this may have more to do with there being no VOGO in the default simulator. There is a VAGO in the same place. Do you use an updater for your navdata?
lance76
Hi, yes the default is VAGO in FSX and P3DV4 . Airport actual ICAO code is VOGO and the freeware addon is also recognized as VAGO. elevation problem is only when running Prepar3D client version 4.5.13. but no issues with Prepar3d client version 4.5.12. do mean FSX/P3D World Navaids package.no i don,t use it. i just have Navigraph AIRAC for aircrafts. Nick Cooper
Does Navigraph change the simulator airports' navdata? I suspect that the new method of reading airport elevations introduced by "Hotfix 2", version 4.5.13.32097 is the reason.
