Gloryiam Posted October 7, 2019 Posted October 7, 2019 Greetings! I am using P3D v4.5 and I upgraded to ORBX Central a couple weeks ago. I also purchased and installed several new things from ORBX. Now when I try to run the Auto-Configuration for airport elevation corrections, I get an error every time with the following info: See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'a9093d1a-2ca8-4c98-9009-364a1c33c4de.exe' is denied. at System.IO.Directory.DeleteHelper(String fullPath, String userPath, Boolean recursive, Boolean throwOnTopLevelDirectoryNotFound, WIN32_FIND_DATA& data) at System.IO.Directory.Delete(String fullPath, String userPath, Boolean recursive, Boolean checkHost) at System.IO.Directory.Delete(String path, Boolean recursive) at FtxVector.Configurator.Ui.Forms.MainForm.Aec_AutoBtn_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.OnClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Button.OnClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Button.OnMouseUp(MouseEventArgs mevent) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmMouseUp(Message& m, MouseButtons button, Int32 clicks) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ButtonBase.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Button.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) ************** Loaded Assemblies ************** mscorlib Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4010.0 built by: NET48REL1LAST_B CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.NET/Framework/v4.0.30319/mscorlib.dll ---------------------------------------- FtxVector.Configurator Assembly Version: 1.6.3.0 Win32 Version: 1.6.3.0 CodeBase: file:///D:/Prepar3D%20v4/ORBX/FTX_VECTOR/FTX%20GLOBAL%20VECTOR%20Configuration%20Tool.exe ---------------------------------------- Microsoft.VisualBasic Assembly Version: 10.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 14.8.3752.0 built by: NET48REL1 CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/Microsoft.VisualBasic/v4.0_10.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/Microsoft.VisualBasic.dll ---------------------------------------- System Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4001.0 built by: NET48REL1LAST_C CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Core Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4001.0 built by: NET48REL1LAST_C CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Core/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Core.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Windows.Forms Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4001.0 built by: NET48REL1LAST_C CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Windows.Forms/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Windows.Forms.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Drawing Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.3752.0 built by: NET48REL1 CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Drawing/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Drawing.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Configuration Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.3752.0 built by: NET48REL1 CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Configuration/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Configuration.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Xml Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.3752.0 built by: NET48REL1 CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Xml/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Xml.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Runtime.Remoting Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.3752.0 built by: NET48REL1 CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Runtime.Remoting/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Runtime.Remoting.dll ---------------------------------------- ************** JIT Debugging ************** To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this application or computer (machine.config) must have the jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section. Gloryiam Posted October 28, 2019 Author Posted October 28, 2019 Hi again, It has been 3 weeks since I posted this. Does it usually take this long for a reply here? I'm still having this issue.
Gloryiam Posted November 11, 2019 Author Posted November 11, 2019 So I'm just wondering...what else should I do to get this resolved? I see staff answering all kinds of questions but this one has no replies for such a long time. Issue still persists.
Doug Sawatzky Posted November 12, 2019 Posted November 12, 2019 Hi Are you using the newest version of Orbx Central as shown in the image below?
Gloryiam Posted November 12, 2019 Author Posted November 12, 2019 Yes I am. I just ran Auto-Configuration and got the same error.
Doug Sawatzky Posted November 12, 2019 Posted November 12, 2019 Thanks You will also need to be running your PC and the program as administrator.
Gloryiam Posted November 13, 2019 Author Posted November 13, 2019 Yes to both things you mentioned and still the same issue.
Doug Sawatzky Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 1. Ensure your .net framework is updated with versions 2,3 and 4, using the tool found at the link. http://www.asoft.be/prod_netver.html 2. Ensure your UAC is turned off. 3. Check and\or disable your antivirus and be sure it is not being blocked. 4. Have a close look in your computers program list for any other antivirus programs that may have been installed without your knowledge. 5. Ensure your windows firewall is allowing it.
Gloryiam Posted November 14, 2019 Author Posted November 14, 2019 Hi Doug, It seems like it may have been Norton. I disabled it to test and the Auto-Configuration ran fine. I don't recall having to do that before installing the new ORBX Central. I'll let you know if I have any other issues concerning this. Thank you.
