Richard Myers Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 Quote Your Central log file provides us important information, please attach it to your support requests. You can find it at the following locations, or by pressing Control + Shift + L. Windows: %APPDATA%/Orbx/Central/central.log macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Orbx/Central/central.log Linux: ~/.config/Orbx/Central/central.log You can delete this box/quote once your log is attached Operating system: Simulator: Screenshot: Issue: Having dealt had enough of the night textures issues displaying in P3D (known problem) I have decided to solve this with the currently suggested method of re-installing Global Base into the main sim folder. However I cannot find a way to un-install Global Base. How can I achieve this ?
Nick Cooper Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 Hello, how did you install GlobalBase in the first place please?
Richard Myers Posted September 21, 2019 Author Posted September 21, 2019 Nick Using ORBX Central shortly after release using the "migration" procedure.
Nick Cooper Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 You should be able to go to wherever that put the files and find version_????.txt. I don't know the exact name because I have not done this, version_global_base.txt perhaps? If you delete that, Orbx Central will show the product as not installed and you can then install it into your P3D v4 Folder.
Richard Myers Posted September 21, 2019 Author Posted September 21, 2019 Nick...top work. Just trying it out now..will report back.
