Operating system:  win 7

Simulator:  p3d

Screenshot:

Issue:

I bought the Honolulu city scap which forced me to download orbx central (the old FTC was working perfectly.

once installed it started to re down load all my orbx products (about 500 GB) to a library which I do not want it to do I am happy with them in the P3d v4 folder

I managed to cancel this.

Now it says a update is available for Vector and Pacific Northwest

However when I select update the disk just spins and nothing happens?

Best wishes

Bob

Hello,

Orbx Central does not do any of the things you allege unless you tell it to.

You can simply start it, create a library and then thereafter simply select

This option \/

I would suggest that you uninstall Orbx Central, delete

C:\Users\Your name\AppData\Roaming\Orbx\Central

and start again.

Just create one Orbx Central library and install Objectflow into it.

Then install your new product into "Prepar3D v4 Folder".

Hi Nick

I followed  your instructions re uninstalling and re installing orbx central and it worked

I have no clue as to what I did the first time, but I could not get passed the create a library point so I created one.  Then off it went re downloading over 500 gb of data.

Which I canceled.

Now I have one further question

What is the MISC section about?

I don't recall seeing this in the old FTX central and should I install it?

Best wishes

Bob

Guest Josh Koz

Can you try enabling 'Advanced Layering' under Settings -> Insertion Point and seeing if the issue persists? If so can you attach your central.log file so we can look into this further.
