active C4 File instead Zip File?

Hi just a little confussed here. When I manually download files I used to get .Zip files and everything its ok but last dowwnloads I made I get a .C4 file instead a Zip and I cant install siuch file via Orbx Central.

Any Help?

Hello,

the c4 file is designed for Orbx Central.

 

1. Download the file.

2. Navigate to the product page in Orbx Central, select "Install via manual Download"

3. In the Windows File Explorer window that opens, navigate to where you put the c4 file and highlight it

4. Click on open.

5. Select the location where you want it to be installed

6. the product will be installed from your downloaded c4 file.

 

There is another and much simpler way.

 

1. Select install on the product page.

2. Select the location where you want it to be installed

3. the product will be installed

Thanks Nick will try again, but seems to me that Orbx Central only search for a Zip File and doesnt aloud me to see and choose the C4 file

Orbx Central seems to recognise both the extension .zip and .c4.

There seems to be no consistency in the files at the server, some are .zip and some .c4

To clarify this:

• Orbx Central full downloads should always be .c4
• Orbx Central chunks (partial downloads) should always be .zip
• FTX Central 3 full download zips and shunks should always be .zip
