Gulfie Posted August 26, 2019 Posted August 26, 2019 When I try to install Orbx Central, it firstly tells me my internet connection is not permitted (although it is working fine). If it does complete it tells me it cannot locate the .exe file.

Gulfie Posted August 26, 2019 Author Posted August 26, 2019 As this is a new build, I do not yet have any anti virus software installed.. I originally had Central loaded and downloaded my purchased base but suddenly the program closed down and then disappeared.

When I click as administrator on the downloaded file, it tells me there is a problem with the internet connection, despite browser etc working fine. If I reboot, the internet problem goes away: it deposits a shortcut on the desktop but it is not connected to a program and I get an error saying that the system cannot locate Orbx Central.exe. If I use the search function to find the exe. file, nothing is found. As I mentioned, Central was loaded and working earlier and then seemingly self erased. Thanks for your help.

Gulfie Posted August 27, 2019 Author Posted August 27, 2019 For some reason the installation corrupted the registry. By deleting orbx registry entries (which may require advanced permissions), I was able to load Central normally.
