Nick Cooper Posted August 18, 2019 Share Posted August 18, 2019 Hello Pascal, welcome to the forums. If you are using Orbx Central then none of your backups will work. If you wanted to install your backups, you could use FTX Central to do that and then move over to Orbx Central. The only proviso is that if a product has been updated since you made your backup, FTX Central will download the whole product again. If you would like to try FTX Central, here is a download link. So, since almost every scenery has been updated lately I can't even use my backups with FTX Central. I must say, I'm a bit pissed. I have an SSD just for those backups, and now I can't even use them and have to download everything again. Can I at least use the backups I am making now for future installs? Nick Cooper Posted August 18, 2019 Share Posted August 18, 2019 Hello, if you make backups now using Orbx Direct, then you should be able to use them with Orbx Central in the future. You will have seen that you can set it to make backups automatically. It is only recent news to me that backups of products that have been updated will not add any files at all but that FTX Central will download the whole product again. I don't know how many of your products you have backups for but you do have many of the more mature products that have not been updated for years.
