RalphC Posted August 15, 2019 Share Posted August 15, 2019 Hello Nick.. I too have the similar problem of black boxes. The airport concerned is ESSA ..I'm using FSX-SE. I have LOWI..No problem with that and I have; "Continue to use the Preview Direct X 10 mode and download and install the freeware fix to be found at the Avsim Library, file name shader_release_v3.2.3.zip" taken the above advice you previously posted... RalphC Posted August 16, 2019 Share Posted August 16, 2019 Hi Again... Thanks for this link. I did have "Little black boxes" at LOWI..Hence my installation of the 'fix' from AVSIM. Even without this in, I still got black areas with the freeware DX10 fix. Looks like I'll have to acquire the payware 'fixer' or fly without DX10...ESSA and LOWI are both fine with out it.
