active scenery_packs.ini - name consistency

After setting up the new central I noticed an inconsistency in the way XP11 is handled in that LOWI orders the listings in scenery_packs.ini file differently to other multiple file enteries.

 

eg.

SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/Orbx_A_LOWI_Innsbruck/
SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/Orbx_A_LOWI_LOJT/
SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/Orbx_B_LOWI_Overlay/
SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/Orbx_C_LOWI_DrapedOrthos/

 

Whereas

SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/Orbx_EGKA_A_Shoreham/

SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/Orbx_EGKA_B_Shoreham_Roads/

 

The second method is used mostly and I think this is a better model as it will sort all the files for one airport together. Whatever method is used I would like to humbly suggest that it be kept consistent.

The scenery entry names are actually specified by the airport/region developers themselves and not by Orbx Central. I'll move this to the X-Plane 11 sub-forum where it'll be in front of the right people.

Hello Anton,

a uniform naming method was proposed at the beginning of development for X Plane 11 but did not attract much interest.

With one or two exceptions, there is one method for naming TE regions and another for airports.

In fairness, there is not not so much variation as there was at the outset but I think that your point is valid.
