MikeMarioR Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 Hallo, I made a fresh install of P3D an Orbx Central. With FTX Central 3 it was important that the Orbx library entry exist over all ORBX Sceneries. Is that true for ORBX Central? If so, then I dont understand the layer entry in the associated xml file. <SimBase.Document Type="AddOnXml" version="4,0" id="add-on"> <AddOn.Name>Orbx Libraries</AddOn.Name> <AddOn.Description>Required for the correct operation of Orbx scenery.</AddOn.Description> <AddOn.Component>
ORBX\Scripts\custom.gb_base\Landclass
</AddOn.Component> <AddOn.Component>
Scenery\Global
</AddOn.Component> <AddOn.Component>
ORBX\FTX_AU\FTXAA_ORBXLIBS
<Layer>139</Layer> </AddOn.Component> <AddOn.Component>
Effects </AddOn.Component> <AddOn.Component>
ORBX\Scripts\custom.gb_base </AddOn.Component> <AddOn.Component>
Sound </AddOn.Component> <AddOn.Component>
Weather </AddOn.Component> <AddOn.Component>
Texture <Type>GLOBAL</Type> </AddOn.Component> </SimBase.Document> Mike Operating system: Win 10 Simulator: P3D v4.5 Screenshot: Issue: central.log
Nick Cooper Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 Hello, libraries can be anywhere in the scenery layers. They don't do anything, they are just a passive resource that other software can draw from.
MikeMarioR Posted August 7, 2019 Author Posted August 7, 2019 Hallo Nick, thanks for answer. Was new to me. Until now, it has always been said that the ORBX library only always has to be above all ORBX entries. Mike
