My Question : - can I just copy all Orbx stuff from the custom scenery folder into my new pc (external drive) and link it to my new xp installation ? or do I have to reinstall it - does Orbx write files somewhere else besides custom scenery ? Nick Cooper Posted August 6, 2019 Share Posted August 6, 2019 Hello, you will be able to do as you wish to but for FTX Central you would need to create symbolic links back to the Custom Scenery folder. If you use Orbx Central instead, you will be able to install the Orbx files wherever you want to and links will be created for you. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Of course, without FTX Central or Orbx Central, you will not be able to manage them, but if that does not matter to you, they will all work in X Plane 11.
