active Install Issue

I'm having issues trying to get ORBX True Earth Great Britain North to work.

 

After many attempts to download through FTX Central without success I tried the manual download. That seemed to work, although crashed quite a few times along the way.

It finally says its fully installed & ready to use but when I go on XP11 the scenery is not updated & I notice that FTX Central starts extracting files again & then tries the install again but just crashes about 1/3 of the way through. Ive been trying to get this installed for a few weeks now so any help would be much appreciated if anyone has come accross this before?

There is also a new app in open beta called "Orbx Central" that may work better for you.

Ive done method 2 and its re-installed FTX Central nicely & its now not trying to re-install the scenery over & over. Having a look around it says my product is installed & is ready to use but still no scenery showing up in game, just the same standard XP11 scenery.

 

Is there naything im missing or suppose to do after the install? I assumed it would just work.

Hi Darran, can you please start up X-Plane somewhere in Scotland, then shutdown X-Plane and then post your log.txt file here. You can find it in your X-Plane directory. It should tell us if you have any corrupt files or a corrupt install
