bigmarty
I have been trying to fly in to Trident Basin Seaplane Base in Alaska but there is a land mass where the water runways should be. If I disable ORBX in Scenery Library the land mass goes away and the ocean appears in its place. Is there a fix for this? Thank you. dexthom
What Orbx scenery do you have installed for that area. Here's what I see at T44:
bigmarty
Thanks for the reply. I have ORBX Global Base Pack and ORBX Airport Pack. But as I mentioned with ORBX activated there is land mass where T44 should be. With ORBX disactivated I get ocean but nothing like what your picture shows. bigmarty
Update - if I activate the ORBX categories one at a time in Scenery Library, I have discovered that the offending land mass appears when FTX_ZZ_Global_Airports is activated. When this is disactivated the top down view shows a single island. The view in P3D flight planner shows several islands as they appear in your picture. Nick Cooper
Hello, a tiny amount of research reveals that KDK seems to be doing this. Please search your ORBX\FTX_GLOBAL\FTX_FTXG_AIRPORTS\Scenery folder for KDK and remove all three files. All should then be well.
bigmarty
I could only find two KDK files and deleted both. Now the land mass is gone with ORBX activated, so thank you.
Nick Cooper
There are three but if it's worked, then all is good.
