Guest bliksimpie
KnackFSX Really nice screenshots. Downloaded those paints of the A2A cub mate. That guy has done an awesome job on the cub's repaints. I particularly love the "bushwakker" livery. Really old and it looked like a real workhorse. Fit in lovely with PNW. check out this cub repaints.. if you ever want to see real world liveries.. no shiny new out of the factory liveries http://www.jo-stein.com/forum/topic.php?id=1841&s= Sorry for the highjack

John Venema
Oh it's more than just contrast, trust me There's a nice desaturation happing here which gives it that '1970's photo' type of feel. I like it
tom
Yes they make for splendid viewing - I'm with you JV ... There's gotta be more than just contrast, ... surely. Anyhow, absolutely great shots, and thanks for sharing - keep 'em coming. Cheers

Guest J van E
Nice shots. What also helps a lot when it comes to the 1970-photo-feel is the color of the sky: it's not that 'true blue' you usually see. That cool greyish blue does make things look a bit like in older movies and photographs! (I suppose it's a REX sky? If so, which one?)

That cool greyish blue does make things look a bit like in older movies and photographs! (I suppose it's a REX sky? If so, which one?) Hello I've configured my rex2 with the theme Realistic, the clouds effects are from the weather theme #6 delivered with the last ftx released. For my ps options: i reduce contrast and saturation level, after that i increase the cleanness with the automatic option in PS (filter) this is the last screen i've made, that's the result after following the steps, be sure i try to explain you how i have this ps results, but i'm french and my ps is also in french so i've to translate the options i use, if you try and you don't have the same result i can show you with screens, step by step how i have this result [img width=1160 height=687]http://reloo.free.fr/fsxscreens/pilotevirtuel/safir/safir04.jpg [img width=1160 height=687]http://reloo.free.fr/fsxscreens/pilotevirtuel/safir/safir02.jpg i'm gonna show you darrington tonight with another safir (with a Jan Kees repaint) i hope you will enjoy have a nice trip in ftx world, Greetings Gregory
