Danny201346
Ever since installing Open LC packs I am getting don’t sink repeatedly from 1000ft all the way down on any aircraft on perfect approaches. Any ideas? Ran Make runways and deleted the runway.dat file from the PMDG folder to no avail.
corinoco
Now that you mention it... yes. I thought I was just rubbish at approaches. I wonder if it's an effect of running the FTX Global Vector airport altitude correction tool?
Danny201346
Well I don’t have vector installed but ever since I installed open LC packages I get this call every single time. Obviously there is a bug somewhere.
Nick Cooper
Hello, if you disable your open LC packages, does the problem go away?

Nick Cooper
Thanks. I have no idea why this should be. Have you asked the aircraft developers if they have a theory?

Nick Cooper
I assume from your previous post, it is PMDG? If not who and is it only one aircraft that is affected, or several please?
lawrence aldrich
Do you actually get "sink" (stall, really)? Or just the cockpit warning?

Warning only, perfect approaches with AP engaged. From 1000 all the way down to touch down. Never happened before installing open lc

Nick Cooper
To help in any research, do you have any other addon or default aircraft that do this?
Danny201346
I only tested with the Mooney but I don’t think that airplane will produce the don’t sink call out as it is a GA vehicle. I’ve done some research these past few days and seems like other people has experienced this same issue with 3rd party software, specially scenery and the only way to mitigate this is by deleting the don’t sink wag in the P3d main folder. Someone suggested running makerunways but that did not resolve the issue for me.
