Cessna Field in Wichita (KCEA)

Hi Gents I don't know if I am posting at the right place but I think the elevation of the Cessna field in Wichita needs to be adjusted. The problem is that I couldn't find it anywhere on the lists in FTX Vector Configuration / Airport Elevation Correction utility to try to enable or disable it. I tried keying in the ICAO airport designator manually (KCEA) but still the configurator does not find it. I own your full catalogue (except some airports). I am attaching some screen shots for ease of reference.

Please help. Many thanks in advance and best wishes.

Hello,

if there is no AEC, then Vector cannot be the cause of the anomaly.

Secondly, there are no Orbx files at all for this airport, not even one.

Thirdly, the airport is broken in a completely default version of FSX.

The reason is that it is right next to a huge airforce base and Microsoft has

shared the flatten between the two installations.

However, they set the airport altitude to a seven feet difference between the two,

which is why there is the anomaly.

It is not our job to support broken flight simulators, however, the fix for this is not difficult.

I attach a file.

It is for FSX.

KCEA_ADEX_NC_ALT.bgl must be placed into scenery\world\scenery

Restart FSX and the airfield will look like this:

Dear Nick,

That is extremely kind of you. I really appreciate your going out of your way and solving an issue that I have despite it being neither fault nor responsibility of ORBX. My second "support" episode with ORBX, and you guys ROCK!

Best wishes.

Khalid
