GBSouth SP1 Service pack folder error after unpacking? (second)

After you advised me to merge folders so i have 2 questions left.

1. you wrote in a thread:

"For MacOS/Linux users, please download the SP1 files from here and merge (do not choose replace) the contents into your Custom Scenery folder."

I think it is wrong, because during merge, i got a question if i want ro overwrite older files with newer one (why ?) what to do ?

2. found files in your SP1 "region_euro.png" and "region_us.png"

can't find similar files in the Gb South installation folder, where have i to copy them ?

Plerase just merge the whole folder.

Just had a thought.

I suggested using the merge functioning relation to the Mac and OSX for SP1. I hadn't considered that the cross-platform download is also used with Linux. So I don't know if that works the same way as OSX i.e. merge, or if in the same way as Windows i.e. just copy & paste (or extract)?

Hello,

To clarify problems and ongoing support issues, of course, the process should be clarified.

I want to buy even more england but I'm a bit unsure because problems in the scenery hide

and eventually appear later during flight.

The process is perfectly clear if it is not constantly questioned.

What must happen.

The files in the download must be added to the existing product file structure.

This will include adding files that are not already present and overwriting files

that are already present.

What must not happen.

As it seems is possible in the Mac OS, the option given to replace the existing

files and folders must not be selected because in the Mac OS, if it is, the

existing files are first removed.

Notes:

What is understood

It is well understood that you do not have the Mac OS and that you do not have

FTX Central.

Linux operating system.

I cannot comment on the OS that you do have, Linux because I know nothing about it.

Just be careful that it does not also behave like the Mac OS and first remove the

existing files and folders.

Is this a new support question?

Have you resolved the first support question?
