HercFan
Found a nice little "nasty" OZx field today. Good thing that I did not have much wind to deal with. Here is a fun approach in the Auster into to Chifley. West of Warnevale and Aeropelican (my starting point today). Low fly-by to get a good visual on what we are about to do. Here we go. All systems are good, I am on Flaps 2, speed just where I want it. No problemo! Little bonus... taking off from YPEC

Dexter Dog
I think it's pretty easy - as long as you use a whirlybird! Nice pics!
Tim Harris
Last time I visited Chifley there was an car engine block sitting in the middle of the runway, and the ground was so rough I did even take the 4x4 on to it
HercFan
Actually, this was my easiest landing in the "tougher" OZx fields. Probably because I had just the perfect wind for it (lucky!). And of course, you need just the right bird for it. Later in that day, I gave up after 3 tries at another one (forgot to write it down however...). Patrick Cox
To the locals and those in the know it is actually the airstrip on the top of Scenic Hill on the outskirts of Lithgow. Cheers Pat
