However XP11 shows an error message that it is missing DDS files for the selected terrain, and then terminates. I have the ortho folders on a different disk due to size (which i have with most of my ortho/scenery actually), and then just link from the Custom Scenery folder. If i compare the original and the new Orthos folder, i see that the new is 12GB smaller than the original one. So do the installer need the original orthos folder to work? (although no errors were displayed during installation) or is there a number of DDS files missing from the SP1 update? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you moved your files and used a shortcut (you don't say how you did it), then FTX Central cannot see those files and therefore update them.
