Or to be really adventurous, you could hover outside in a helicopter and do the same, and then be totally confused! Although to be serious for a minute, if you had the eye in a real-time rotation speed you'll have missed it moving because of a) FPS stutters or, b) flying too fast to notice. Lovely idea though...
