petersanctus
Greatings, after I updated my p3d to V4.4 and installed my orbx products in the 'new' p3d, It started to appear these strange and unrealistics peaks and holes in the mountains, skatered all over, and only in the mountain terrain. These pictures that I am showing you are from Georgia between the black sea and Tiblisi, you can see what are these strange terrain behaviors in the terrain. Its similar to the problem that appears if one doesn't run the Vector Auto-Configuration and then some airports get in conflit regarding the elevation. But in this situation, I can't see what could possibly cause this issue. Has anyone haveseen this behavior?
Nick Cooper
Hello, Orbx has no mesh products that cover this area. You should refer to whoever supplied the mesh.
petersanctus
Hello, Hmm interesting, but I don't have any global mesh or a mesh for this area.
Nick Cooper
Perhaps then the default mesh contains these errors. In some parts of the world, its quality is at best variable. You could perhaps try Freemesh X instead.
petersanctus
I will! I should have given a try long time ago! Thank you, anyway, I will report the result when I have it installed!
petersanctus
Just to report that the problem was indeed related to bad p3d local mesh, with the Freemesh all of those peaks were corrected.
