Skyways1142
This issue with FSX-SE only - not a problem with P3D4. Downloaded and installed 20+ airfields (mostly payware) and have issues with 17 of them! When setting up at these airfields the aircraft (Cessna) is hovering about 20-feet or more above the allocated slot... I read in another part of the forum that in the case of NZQW it should be inserted after the NZ Global. Have done this and while the aircraft is now on the ground after set-up, when panning around the textures go awry in a big way! These screenshots illustrate the point. The first is 'on the ground' at PAYA; the others at NZQW after moving the insertion point as above. All suggestions welcome

Sounds like you may have misunderstood....the fix was to uninstall both the airport and the Island, then reinstall the Island first, then reinstall the airport....not rearranging the inserted point in the scenery library. Also be sure your mesh resolution setting in FSX is set to 5m.
