Michael Gerard Taylor
I have noticed that the hills and coastal terrain is angular, I've seen videos of the areas which look great, unfortunately mine doesn't. I only have xp default scenery and no other ortho except Barton.

Michael Gerard Taylor
On the south coast, near Brighton heading towards the White cliffs.
Fizzelle
Yes there is some texture anomaly - here is Beachy head for example. I don't think it can be cured without some specialist mesh-editing. We've always had this sort of texture leakage. It can be done as someone posted the White Cliffs a long time ago on the X-Plane forums. I'm enclosing a link below - look for the "Known issues" part which explains the common problem http://www.alpilotx.net/downloads/x-plane-11-hd-mesh-scenery-v4/#Known_issues
Michael Gerard Taylor
I had hd mesh 4 previously installed and then removed it, could this have caused the issue? or is this normal with True earth South / x-plane? If I reinstalled x-plane, do you think it will sort the anomaly?
Fizzelle
With X-Plane, you can only have one mesh at a time loaded. If you have two meshes, X-Plane will suppress one of them according to the priority in the scenery_packs.ini file. Without corrected OSM data, or specialist editing, I don't believe it can be altered and TE GB South will be ever thus. In my opinion! Perhaps one of the official ORBX scenery bods can chip in. Michael Gerard Taylor
Thanks for your help Fizzelle. I have seen yt videos which shows more smoother images than mine, I must have an anomaly somewhere.
MGTaylor
Is there likely to be a patch for this mesh error as I still haven't had a proper explanation why this is happening.
