I’m going to buy FTX Global + OpenLC Europe I was wondering whether a fresh install of FSX is recommended because I have lots of random scenery and aircraft installed! Nick Cooper Posted October 31, 2018 Share Posted October 31, 2018 Hello, welcome to the forums. FTX Global Base is a set of replacement textures. It will , after giving you the option to back them up, overwrite all the default textures and of course if you have used another texture replacement texture pack in the past, those will be gone. Open LC will add numerous other textures and rearrange tham all to best fit the topography. If you have any other landclass products, they would be best removed but only if they cover Europe.
