ggrahamford@aol.com
Can I ask for some help please. I can download , extract and install all the required files for True Earth Great Britain South. Once the installation completes my system cannot open the texconv.exe with error code 0xc000007b. I have cleaned the registry files using a market leading PC cleaner but still no joy. I have located the texconv.exe app and if I double click I get this the c: black command box. I short, I have all the jpg files I require (12098) but cannot convert them to .ter files. Appreciate any support. Thanks Graham.

Nick Cooper
Thanks. Do you have Visual C ++ 2013, the one that is required? They are not updates of each other.
ggrahamford@aol.com
Thanks Nick , I'm saying that I have 2 versions Visual C++ 2017 installed in both x64 and x86 formats. I am going to delete them both and install one version of the 2013 Visual C++ Graham
Nick Cooper
Hello, I would advise against that. Each version is stand alone and many products require a specific version. For example, the FSX installer adds Visual C++ 2005. The P3D v4 installer adds Visual C++ 2013. They also add both the 32 bit (x86) and 64 bit (x64) versions and I would also advise that you add both. Just because the operating system may be 64 bit does not mean that the software is not 32 bit. ggrahamford@aol.com
Nick, Do I need to delete all the jpg's and start again - or can I just verify the files ? I have just downloaded Visual C++2013 from your link.
Nick Cooper
Hello, I suggest that you open the command again and it should work. Download the file from the link, put it into the textures folder and run it as an administrator. You should see it start converting the files. Here is how it looks here, of course there is nothing to convert.

Nick Cooper
Can you exclude texconv.exe from whatever anti virus software your are using? You might also try rebooting your PC once you have done that.

Nick Cooper
Hello, did you reboot. Make sure that you have all versions, 2, 3 and 4.xx of the Microsoft .net framework installed. If you have and it still doesn't work, there are lots of ideas if you search the internet for 0xc000007b.
