telg Posted October 16, 2018 Share Posted October 16, 2018 I have downloaded true earth for xplane 11, it had downloaded, then it said extracting , then said installing but nothing was happening . i restarted my pc and now it wont open ftx central . i have attached the error log it said to send , really disapointed as it took me all weekend to download, in the process of downloading again as i cleared the temp cache as someone suggested. very frustrating Terry Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You do seem to have interrupted the installation before it had finished. It does take a long time and will notify you that the product is installed and up to date when it is finished. telg Posted October 16, 2018 Author Share Posted October 16, 2018 Hi Nick , thanks for reply , i already have reinstalled ftx central and now in the process of downloading again. about 19 gig in and 6 hours to go , really dont want to stop the process as its been going all night . But last time just after the extraction stage i got a text page come up with errors , so i closed the text thing and it said installing . however when i looked at processes there was no action with cpu usage or anything other memory usages , this is why i decided to start again. regards terry Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you see another error message, please try to either take a screen shot of it or attach the FTX Central log. Good luck with this attempt. That's not really a guide as apparently every system is different but it should give you an indication at least.
