viewing object bgl files

Hi,

Is there any way to view the contents of an object.bgl file?

I use UK2000 EGPH scenery and found a static aircraft that should not be there,as the position was not part of the gate.

long story short is I tracked it down to the FTX_SCO_EGPH_objects.bgl file. By removing this file the aircraft disappeared.

However, I just wondered what other items may be in this bgl file, that I may want to keep if possible to do that and remove stuff I don't

Thanks

Hi,

Turning files off is one thing, but opening files and altering the contents is another thing entirely.  There is a risk this would breach the copyright/EULA.

Another option you might look in to is using an exclusion which you can do with a payware program called "Instant Scenery", or with the freeware "Airport Design Editor".

In this case you are adding a file (the exclusion), so there is no alteration of a developer's file required.

There is a program called Model Converter X which can be used to view the contents of bgl files containing models.

Cheers,
