MikeFlight
I migrated the airportscenery L35 from Turbulent to ORBX. Before installing via FTXCentral, I uninstalled the original Turbulent Scenery L35 via the Control Panel. Now my P3Dv4.3 doesn't start anymore. The ORBX Scenery L35 is not installed yet! Only the start window appears without a symbol in the task bar. The start window can only be closed via the task manager. Restarting the computer does not help either. In Turbulent Folder / Core / Logs I found the following file: Warning: Could not find file or directory Info: P3Dv4 (legacy) Info: Found in config - TD L35 Big Bear Airport Warning: Incorrect format of entry Warning: [Area.341] Warning: Title = TD L35 Big Bear Airport Warning: Local = E: \ Prepar3D v4 Add-ons \ Turbulent \ TRB_Airports \ L35_BigBear Warning: Active = TRUE Warning: Layer = 341 2 days ago I have updated the TRB libraries. Since then also this file can be found in the logs: Warning: Incorrect format of entry Warning: [Area.144] Warning: Title = TD Libraries Warning: Local = E: \ Prepar3D v4 Add-ons \ Turbulent \ TRB_Libraries Warning: Active = TRUE Warning: Layer = 144 Can anyone help here? Nick Cooper
Hello, it may be that you have removed the files but not the scenery library entries. If P3D is having a problem, try renaming your scenery.cfg file and restarting P3D.
Ron Attwood
That did it. Thanks Nick
MikeFlight
Thanks, Nick. But that does not help. I renamed the scenery.cfg and started the P3D. The loading bar is displayed "Generating scenery file indexes ...", but it stays at 98% and then nothing works. I think now I have a bigger problem .... Nick Cooper
Hello Michael, if there was no change at all, perhaps you did not rename C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\scenery.cfg. If your P3D will not start with a default scenery.cfg file, the problem cannot be with any add on scenery. You could also try reinstalling and then deleting the scenery library entries before you uninstall.
MikeFlight
Thank you very much, Nick. I have activated the previous scenery config again and reinstalled Turbulent L35. And the P3D started again. Puh. Then I deleted the scenery library entry of L35 as you said and uninstalled via control panel. And the P3D still started. Yippieee. I left the libraries because I still have TB 2O3 Angwin installed. Everything again okay. Finally ORBX L35 installed via FTXC and everything is fine again. Thanks again.
