Johnnyg
Hi, I have just started flying with the ORBX new scenery and have a couple of observations/questions: 1. After take off the scenery is much improved but I didnt have the details I expected regarding roads etc. The terrain seems very undetailed and flat particularly just after TO from Glasgow - which was surprising. I have my settings at their highest for detail in FSX so wonder if there is more fine tuning needing done somewhere? I have installed VECTOR and Open LC Europe which are adds on to focus on these very parts of scenery. 2. Aircraft in the sky initially appear as black blinking boxes for about 10s and eventually refresh to the proper graphic. Also takes a while for my plane interior and exterior to refresh when changing views which I havent seen before. Appreciate the feedback, best John
Dadtom65
Hi John. Would help if you told us what your computer specs are, plus have you tweaked FSX at all. Plus forgot don’t forget the new scenery coming out for Scotland some time this year. Derek.

Proc: i7-6700HQ @2.6GHz 16GB RAM GeForce GTX 960M Windows 10 Have DX10 preview mode enabled I havent made any changes to FSX from the core installation apart from the scenery library where I have moved my 3rd party addons prior to ORBX scenery as advised. Smudger
Hello John, you have DX10 preview mode enabled, but do you have Steves DX10 fixer installed ? Without it you will have anomolies ( black squares, etc, in you scenery ) If not, untick it and check again with DX9.
