Stratocruiser
At and around RJTT, Tokyo International I and others, I fly on line with, are seeing almost constant very bright white flashes of light everywhere. As we approach about 20 miles out and all the way down to the ground and on the ground it is happening. It happens on line and off line. We all have P3D v4.2 and Orbx Global Base and Vector installed, but no addon scenery for this part of the world except those. Trying to determine if it is a P3D or an Orbx problem. Maybe someone who does not have Orbx Global Base and Vector could take a look? I also posted this on the P3D forum. Thanks
petfy
Tokyo is notoriously hard on graphics. Are the white flashes on scenery tiles (which would indicate that your CPU / GPU is having difficulty rendering the scenery) or the whole screen flashing (would not know the cause of this)? Nick Cooper
Hello, perhaps it's this. (One order number in your profile is enough, thanks)
Stratocruiser
Yes, Nick. Kind of like that, but my flashes are bright white. Flashes are not on scenery tiles. They are at all altitudes. Howard
Nick Cooper
Do they persist if you disable the Vector bgl?

Nick Cooper
Hello, you will need to find this file Quote the file you need to disable is 8519_OBJ_ExtrusionBridges_Railway.bgl in FTX_VECTOR_OBJ and rename the bgl extension to inactive.
Stratocruiser
Thanks, Nick. That did the trick. Are any other scenery areas or scenarios affected by disabling this file? Howard
